Location: Hyderabad,India
Reporting To: Procurement Manager
Role Overview
Support global procurement operations from India.
Execute day-to-day procurement activities including purchase order processing, policy compliance, and stakeholder communication.
Operate as an individual contributor balancing transactional execution with process improvement, cost awareness, and vendor relationship management.
Work in a fast-paced, global environment ensuring operational continuity.
Success Profile
Ownership
Manage procurement mailbox and adhere to service-level expectations.
Ensure accurate processing of purchase orders, documentation validation, and initial approvals.
Maintain compliance with procurement policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Keep procurement records, training materials, and system data updated.
Drives Efficiency
Process and track purchase orders for timely delivery.
Resolve discrepancies, delays, and change orders efficiently.
Coordinate urgent requests to support business continuity.
Support invoice matching and payment issue resolution with Finance.
Maintain weekly updates to termination and new-hire lists for system accuracy.
Results Driven
Meet defined response-time SLAs and delivery timelines.
Identify and track cost-saving opportunities, logging savings in procurement platforms.
Ensure timely contract renewal notifications and proactive outreach.
Deliver consistent procurement support to enable uninterrupted operations.
Innovative
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and system usage.
Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security to streamline processes.
Leverage automation, reporting, and AI-enabled tools for accuracy and efficiency.
Enhance vendor communication practices and internal support models.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
4–6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain operations, or vendor management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage stakeholders and build vendor relationships.
Experience with procurement platforms (Zip, Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle).
Strong understanding of procurement workflows, PO management, and vendor lifecycle processes.
Familiarity with finance processes (invoice matching, payment terms, budgeting).
Experience collaborating with Legal and Compliance on contracts/policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools (Slack, Teams).
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage urgent requests in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
