We are seeking an experienced Demand Generation Marketing Manager to drive pipeline growth for our payment and billing technology solutions serving government agencies and utility billers. Based in India, this role is responsible for leading full-funnel demand generation strategy and execution targeted to public-sector and utility audiences.
This role partners closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and execute data-driven programs that generate qualified pipeline, support long enterprise sales cycles, and strengthen position in the government and utilities market.
Strategic
Defines and executes the demand generation strategy for government and utility biller segments, aligning programs to business priorities and revenue goals.
Shapes full-funnel program design to support complex, compliance-driven buying cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes.
Identifies high-value accounts, audience segments, and channel investments that maximize pipeline impact in public-sector and utility markets.
Guides prioritization of campaigns, content, and events to ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact initiatives.
Results Driven
Owns pipeline performance for the GUB segment, driving measurable growth in qualified leads, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.
Establishes and tracks KPIs including MQL and SQL volume, funnel conversion rates, campaign performance, and ROI.
Continuously optimizes campaigns based on performance data to improve engagement and conversion efficiency.
Ensures industry events and integrated campaigns translate into sustained pipeline impact through disciplined execution.
Collaboration
Partners closely with Sales to align on target accounts, ABM strategies, and messaging for government and utility audiences.
Works cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Analytics to ensure integrated, end-to-end execution.
Collaborates with content, events, and enablement teams to support webinars, whitepapers, case studies, and solution briefs.
Builds strong relationships across teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and shared outcomes.
Communication Skills
Translates complex payment, billing, and compliance concepts into clear, compelling messaging for public-sector and utility decision makers.
Communicates campaign strategy, performance insights, and recommendations clearly to sales and marketing stakeholders.
Ensures internal teams understand the value proposition, customer problem, and differentiation behind each campaign.
Leverages marketing automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance targeting, personalization, and performance insights.
Requirements
2–3+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, ideally within payments, fintech, billing, or SaaS
Experience marketing to government agencies, municipal utilities, or public-sector organizations strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems such as Salesforce, ABM tools, and digital campaign platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and guide data-driven decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex value propositions
Familiarity with enterprise buyer groups and multi-stakeholder buying processes
Experience translating compliance and security topics such as PCI, NACHA, and digital adoption into market-facing messaging
Experience working in a SaaS or technology-driven environment preferred
