### Job Summary

The PGT Biology will be responsible for teaching Biology to Senior Secondary students (Classes XI–XII) as per CBSE curriculum guidelines. The role requires strong subject expertise, effective pedagogy, assessment competence, and active participation in academic planning and school activities.

### Key Responsibilities

* Teach Biology to Classes XI and XII in accordance with CBSE syllabus and examination patterns.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans using learner-centric methodologies.
* Conduct practical classes, laboratory work, and ensure safety protocols in the Biology lab.
* Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, competitive exams, and practical exams.
* Design and evaluate assignments, projects, tests, and examinations as per CBSE norms.
* Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
* Integrate ICT tools, smart boards, and digital resources in teaching-learning processes.
* Provide academic mentoring, doubt-clearing sessions, and remedial/enrichment support.
* Participate in curriculum development, academic meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
* Uphold school discipline, ethics, and CBSE academic policies.
* Contribute to co-curricular activities, school events, and institutional initiatives.

### Eligibility Criteria

* **Educational Qualification:**

* M.Sc. in Biology/Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences (or relevant specialization).
* B.Ed. from a recognized university (mandatory).
* **Experience:**

* Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at Senior Secondary level (CBSE preferred).
* **Skills & Competencies:**
